A Little About me

Born and mostly raised in Monterey County California, I enjoyed the Pacific Grove Beach as much as I could, which was almost an every day experience.  I was 20 when I moved to New Mexico, where I met and married my sweetheart, who, by the way, finished raising me!  With a yours, mine, and ours family, we moved to Missouri, where we've been living over 24 years.  We have 6 children and 14 (for now) grandchildren.  I began writing when I was given a pencil and taught what to do with it...but seriously writing novels when I was 14 years old.  Between having and raising children (and grandchildren), and living life in general, I have completed 15 novels.  They can all be found on Amazon.com!  So, what is next?  Continue writing, I suppose.  I was messing around with writing through a child's eyes, and came up with a new series.  And how did I come up with this?  What comes after romance -- children!  With all the writing, and now that my days of homeschooling are done, I am also helping others with their writing, editing, and publishing!  I'm having a great time!  It is as exciting to see another person's face when they hold their very first book, as it was to hold my first!

My Family

This is a picture of me several years ago.  I hate camera pointed at me, so it's hard to find too many recent pictures of me.  I don't see well any more, due to many surgeries, but with the computer, it's great that everything can be made larger!

My sweetheart

James and I have been married for 36 years, as of June  2011.  He's put up with me a lot more than me him.  I am so very thankful for his patience in my writing through the years.

A Small Group of Us

Just a few of us, gathered in Carthage, IL  in 2009.  We went camping and exploring.  We had a great time together.  Camping is one of my favorite things to do as a family.

I love seeing a dad (my oldest son) having a good time with his cub scout.  I wish I could put a lot more pictures on here, but it wouldn't be as fascinating to you as it is                                                                                         to me!

Nothing better than the baby!

Our baby!  She spent her Mission in Northwestern New Mexico spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It was a wonderful time of her life.
