Tonnie Sue is the Waltco Department Store's Personnel Manager. Engaged to be married in two months, she finds an obstacle -- named Bo Wentworth.
Having hired all the Santas needed for the four stores, Bo comes in wanting the position in the main store. He's too tall, too young, too thin, not at all jolly. Being told that all the positions are filled, and if they weren't he wouldn't be considered for the position; he isn't going to give up.
Tonnie Sue is unnerved every time Bo enters her office. His smile, his brown eyes, his voice, just about everything about him seems to irritate her.
Her fiance walks into her office to take her to lunch, and there is Bo, behind her desk, rubbing Tonnie Sue's shoulders and neck. Tonnie Sue tries to explain that this man was just in for an interview when one of her headaches hits, and he offered to help relieve the pain.
The next thing she knows, Roger is standing at the department store door, watching her get out of Bo's limo, right into Bo's arms, and she isn't fighting him when he kisses her!

The large moving van parked across the street simply won't be ignored, nor the 'sold' sign on the lawn.
Delivering cookies that evening, the routine is yet interrupted further. not only are there three children living in the home, but a widowed father who's handsome face just won't leave Michelle's mind. She has been alone for four years, and has always wanted a family. Here was one that needs her.
Will this be the change she needs - or wants - so badly?

Forever and Always
Before she could look any further, the door behind her was being opened, moving her with it. Taking a step away, she felt a hand clamp hard around her wrist.
‘Do you mind telling me what the hell you are doing in my house?’ A silent figure stood before him, refusing to look up. His anger nearly reached rage at not being answered. Not too gently he took her chin in his hand, forcing her to return his gaze. No, he glared, she pleaded. ‘Well?’ His deep voice boomed into the silence and she nearly jumped out of his grasp.
‘I... You... That is...’ Tears filled her eyes. She wanted to look away but his grasp on her chin was too strong. This was The Jeromy Dana. Kathy knew he was eligible, but did she know why? He'd scare every woman off his place before she knew what he was like.
‘Yes? Don't play the scared little rabbit with me. Why are you up here? Damn, why can't you people stay where you belong?’

Old Mountain Home
Last week, Deirdra’s world fell apart. A few days after her fiance demanded his ring back, her father had a fatal heart attack, leaving her alone in the world, except for her best friend, Susana.
With all the family friends calling and coming by with their condolences, Deirdra had to get away. Calling Susana, they make plans to go stay at Deirdra’s cabin at the lake for two weeks.
At lunch in the small city down the mountain, Deirdra accidentally bumps into her dream. After a few minutes of awed silence, apologies made, Craig Parker posses the question of having dinner. His brother would be happy for the date Craig had found him.
Later, as the girls were about to leave after a game of miniature golf, Craig showed up. Their dinner date wasn’t for a couple of hours, but since he found them early, he thought it would be a good idea for them to meet his brother...an almost exact twin.
One drawback: Keith, Deirdra’s former fiance, decides he want her back.
