This is my little city, my little block.  I write, and know a few others who write, so this is my writer's block.

As you can see, I've been busy for quite a few years.  When I wasn't raising children, I was writing.  I did sell Tupperware for a while, and House of Lloyd toys at one time, but writing has been most of what I've done.  Homeschooling my children and a couple of grandchildren took up 20 years, but I was writing during that time also.

So, now I find that I can self publish, and it doesn't take an arm and a leg to do it!  Because I have so many published with CreateSpace.com, I no longer have to purchase my proof copy...which was the only money I had to put out in publishing my books.  Oh! Yes, they have many services that you can pay for, and it can get quite expensive.  But I choose not to use their editing, cover making, etc., and do it all myself.

I want to help others - if it's their dream to publish a book - and I am doing just that!  So far, I've been privileged to help Carlena Biggs get her Volume 1 of From Shame to Honor published, and she's gone on the get Volume 2 published and is working on Volume 3!  I've also helped edit a book by Anne Elizabeth Steel, called The Mad Pumpkin of Saunterville, and now Anne is going on to finishing 3 more books.  You can find the Mad Pumpkin on Amazon.com, as well as the Shame to Honor Series.  It is so fun to see other people's faces when they get their first book in their hand!  It's no more exciting than getting my own!

I am in the process of helping LaVonne D. Parke edit her Sojourner's Savvy...a book as well as a website here on Weebly.com.
